Mayor Weinzapfel will have 3 more meetings concerning the new stadium. For those that are interested in protecting your tax dollars and letting the Mayor know how you feel, these are great opportunities.
For those keeping count just these 3 alone represent 3 more than Congressman Ellsworth plans to do during his August recess. What a shame that he doesn’t have the courage to actually face the voters and take their comments. Instead he is having 1 day of meetings in his office, with a 15 minute time limit to talk Health Care.
For those that wish to give Mayor Weinzapfel your opinion here you go:
Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel will meet with citizens three more times next week to discuss the city’s plans for a Downtown arena.
The two-hour meetings starting at 5:30 p.m. will take place Tuesday at the Red Cross, 29 S. Stockwell Road; Wednesday at the Rainforest Grill inside Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden and Thursday at Nativity Church, 3636 Pollack Ave.
The Wednesday meeting will double as a traveling city hall session, so city department heads along with Arena Project Director John Kish will be there to answer questions.
